THOMAS PATRICK WISNIEWSKI is a graduate fellow at Villa I Tatti, The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies. His research centers on rhythm, prose, and modernism. ENE-REET SOOVIK is Researcher at the Department of Estonian Literature, University of Tartu, Estonia, and an editor of the journal Sign Systems Studies affiliated with the Department of Semiotics of the same university. Her current research interests focus on spatiality in literature, literary urban studies and environmental humanities.

JACK MCMARTIN is a PhD candidate in Translation Studies at KU Leuven and a member of the Centre for Reception Studies (CERES, http://www.receptionstudies.be) at KU Leuven, Campus Brussels. His research project, ‘From Boek to Book: Flanders in the Transnational Literary Field’, uses a translation sociology approach to investigate how literature by Flemish authors circulates internationally, particularly to and through English-language fields. His project emerged out of the ‘Circulation of Dutch Literature’ network (CODL, http://www.codl.nl).

SAMBUDDHA JASH has completed his Masters and M.Phil in English literature from University of Delhi, India. Presently he is pursuing his PhD from the Department of English, University of Delhi. He is working on the growth of Indian English genre fiction writing in the 90s decade and after.

BARBARA DANTI is an Italian PhD student in Comparative Literature and concurrent Master of Teaching student (English and German) at the University of Göttingen. Currently in her PhD she is working to create a corpus of Irish and Irish-American songs for digital text analysis, and additionally she is working as an English teacher and as a professor assistant.

ANJA JOHANNSEN studied German Language and Literature and Philosophy in Berlin, Dublin, Providence, R.I. (USA) and Freiburg i.B. She received her PhD for her work on W.G. Sebald, Anne Duden and Herta Müller. She translated and copy-edited for national and international publishing houses and has published widely on German and English contemporary literature.

MART VELSKER is Associate Professor in Estonian Literature at the University of Tartu. In 2000-2004 he was Lecturer in Estonian Language and Literature at the University of Helsinki and has given lectures at the universities of St. Petersburg, Vilnius, Oulu and Tampere, as well as the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in Tallinn.

LEBRIZ SÖNMEZ has been working as an English language instructor at Balikesir University, School of Foreign Languages since 2005, Turkey. She received her BA from ELT, Dicle University. She obtained her MEd. (Master of Education) from the Education Faculty of Newcastle Upon Tyne University, UK. She completed her PhD. in the English Language and Literature Department at Istanbul Aydin University with a thesis entitled “Politics of Location: Spatial Images and Imaginings in David Greig’s plays”. Her interests are spatial concepts and studies in literature, geography and philosophy.
